ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING SYSTEM
OBJECTIVE
The objective is to monitor the critical alarms. A small mimic panel installed outside MER room for visual indication of any troubles / faults. The EMS system shall be capable to provide alarm outputs to be connected to the SST security system with auto-dialing & SMS functionality for local alarms. The system shall allow interfacing connections (dry contact signals to be connected to the security rack) with SST Sydney control room through security network to allow detailed monitoring from Sydney.
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
T+Rh sensors to be installed in the MER, SER, UPS & Battery room and should be displayed on the mimic panel. The panel should have the graphical representation of MER, SER, UPS & Battery room layouts and the following alarms will be integrated on the mimic panel.
All power dependent alarms shall be extended after 60 seconds time delay.

- Workstation UPS common alarm
- UPS room high temperature alarm

- Panel System Status like Buzzer / Reset / Mute / System Test / Mimic Self Battery Alarm should also form a part of the Mimic Panel.
